ABconsult was formed in 2007 to provide consultancy and management
services in radioactive waste management and disposal. The company is managed by Andy Baker and draws on his expertise in repository safety assessment, radioactive waste management and environmental regulation.
ABconsult provides services in the following areas:
- safety assessment of repositories for radioactive waste;
- management of technical programmes and projects in the radwaste field;
- options appraisal, including BPEO, development of waste strategies, packaging and
conditioning studies;
- technical and strategic studies to support radioactive waste management and disposal
programmes;
- technical review.
Our business model is flexible. Of course, ABconsult is happy to contract directly
with clients. Some work will be undertaken on an Associate basis in collaboration with other companies
in the sector. We can also offer experience in putting together and managing teams designed to deliver projects that
require a wide range of technical expertise.
