We provide services in the following areas:

• safety assessment of repositories for radioactive waste;
• management of technical programmes and projects in the radwaste field;
• options appraisal, including BPEO, development of waste strategies, packaging and conditioning studies;
• technical and strategic studies to support radioactive waste management and disposal programmes;
• technical review.

The company is managed by Andy Baker who has almost twenty years experience in consultancy and regulation related to the management and disposal of radioactive wastes. He holds a first degree in Earth Sciences and a doctorate in Geochemistry.

Andy has previous experience as the Manager of the Environment Agency's Nuclear Waste Assessment Team. As such he had responsibility for a team undertaking technical review of a wide range of proposals for the management and disposal of radioactive waste, including repository related work and options appraisals of different sorts.

As a consultant he has been managed or undertaken technical work in relation to a wide range of repositories including the Nirex repository at Sellafield, the Hungarian and Australian national repositories, the UK's Low Level Waste Repository and many others.
